Approving a Task (Managers)

Tasks are one time “achievement” or directive based recognitions. They allow you to create badges/recognitions associated with very specific, verifiable actions. For example, you may create an initial task for everyone in your organization to sign in to Recognize for the first time. 

When a direct reporting employee indicates that a task has been completed, the Manager will be notified by email, and can approve or deny the task.            


To approve a task:

  • Open your Manager Portal
  • Select the "Tasks" option from the left navigation column
  • Select the "Resolve" button to the right of any task to view the details:





  • Add any necessary notes in the approval confirmation window
  • Approve or deny the task, and submit:
